Did Bush Want North Korea to Test a Nuclear Weapon?

According to the Washington Post, staff writer Glenn Kessler, reporting out of Moscow, believes that statement to be absolutely true. Kessler has been traveling with Condaleeza Rice and has made some rather shocking comments regarding the nukes in N. Korea.

"Before North Korea announced it had detonated a nuclear device, some senior officials even said they were quietly rooting for a test, believing that would finally clarify the debate within the administration."

Well, I bet Dubya was actually hoping for a terrorist attack on American soil, maybe on November 6th! A new scare tactic to secure votes. The Bush Administration must be mighty happy right now if North Korea has nuclear weapons, because it justifies war. However, do you think we would actually go to war with N. Korea..... or Iran?

Furthermore, Kessler goes on to report that Rice, our very own Secretary of State, nearly slipped and said she too was hoping for a test. "On her trip to Asia this week, Rice has come close to saying the test was a net plus for the United States."

Disturbing, yet not surprising... So again (yes, its a bit late for folks abroad in Korea) but you better vote! or who knows WWIII might be just around the corner. It baffles my mind as to why people support a man that has publicically said "I'm a War President". Truly shocking. Don't be too surprised of another threat by N. Korea right before election day.
